General Specifications
HULL AND APPENDAGES
- The hull is of sandwich composite construction using Quadriaxial stitched fabrics and an end grain balsa core composite material, but solid GRP laminate below waterline.
- This gives a stiff laminate with excellent strength and fatigue properties. All laminates are hand laid.
- The engine beds are of GRP and bonded to the hull.
- Sea-cocks under water line are of 316 stainless steel and located in accessible positions.
- Hose connections to inboard side of stainless steel sea-cocks have two stainless steel hose clamps.
- Standard Gelcoat colour is white.
- Rudders are solid stainless steel boasting a 50mm solid shaft with Vetus hydraulic steering system.
- Structural bulkheads are PVC honeycomb/Balsa composite construction and laminated to hull and deck.
- Bulkhead thickness is 28mm.
- Vessel's name and hailing port supplied on transom.
- Dedicated collision bulkheads at bow, at transom (to protect the engines) and at the bottom section of each keel
DECK AND FITTINGS
- The deck is of sandwich composite construction using Quadriaxial-stitched fabrics with end grain Balsa core / PVC honeycomb.
- High density RL material under all deck fittings with stainless steel backing plates.
- Deck surface has a moulded non-slip finish.
- Standard Gelcoat colour is white.
- Primary winches are all electric and 3 speed, self-tailing.
- Primary sheet winches which are only located in the cockpit are size 70, 3-speed.
- 14 Jammers for clutching sheets and ropes
- One secondary aft winch (for mainsail traveller) size 53, 2 speed.
- Electric anchor windlass 12v 2000 watt with foot switches in foredeck anchor locker. Second control at navigation station.
- Stainless steel anchor roller with twin nylon anchor roller inside anchor locker.

- All joinery work and finishing in the living areas are done in accordance with the best yacht practice, using first-grade materials.
- All Veneers (0.7mm) and solid wood are “fiddle back Maple” and sprayed with a polyurethane acrylic lacquer for a high gloss finish. (other woods are available upon request and a further choice of matt or semi-gloss finish on the woodwork is also available)
- All furniture has rounded corners.
- All ceilings and topside linings in white GRP and soft furnishing.
- All wood has 7 layers of lacquer applied. .
- Parquet style flooring throughout.
- 9 x dry powder fire extinguishers fitted according to ISO regulations in specific dedicated areas and lockers.
SALOON
- 2 x separate semi-circular settee’s with cloth upholstery comfortably seating 10 people.
- 1 x fixed large saloon table with folding flap. Support for this flap doubles as a small drink or cocktail table
- Overhead stylish LED recessed ceiling lights.
- Stylish bulkhead mounted reading lights where necessary

ENGINES
- Access to the engine rooms is via 2 specially moulded large hatches in the cockpit floor. These hatches are lockable and feature gas struts
- Stainless steel ladder going down to engine room
- Two x Vetus Mitsubishi Marine diesel engines Model M4-55 with gearbox and V-drive shaft, both freshwater cooled, STBD side coupled via the heat exchanger to a 50L Calorifier for hot water.
- Each engine is mounted on a specially moulded bed.
- Output is 38.3KW / 55 HP at 3000 Rpm.
- Complete ventilation system
- Wet exhaust system by Vetus including water trap, gooseneck and anti-siphon.
- Three bladed fixed manganese bronze propeller.
- Fuel capacity is 790L, tank with sight gauge and shut off valve.
- Vetus cooling water strainers.
- Vetus fuel filter/water separator in each engine room with shut-off valve in engine room as well.
- Tank vented to deck via a Vetus splash stop fuel filler.

PLUMBING
- All freshwater hoses of re-enforced PVC tubing with “speed fit” connections.
- Two 395 L rigid polyethylene water tanks in front lockers.

- One water heater of 50lt with resistor element. Complete with strainers, check valves and an accumulator tank.
- All grey water from showers is discharged overboard by a drain pump.
- All sinks are self-draining.
- Two Shurflo pressure pumps and each pump draws water from the appropriate fresh water tank and service the entire boat.
- Two manual 100 lt/26.42 US gal/min bilge pumps for each hull.
- Outlets are above water level and discharge overboard.
- Holding tanks for 3 x toilets.
- 4 x electric bilge pumps.
- 2 x high water bilge audible alarms at navigation table
ELECTRICAL
- On board DC electrics are 12V with two wire-insulated returns.
- Wires are sized to minimize voltage drop.
- All light current conductors carrying an excess of 50 Amps are 50mm²/0 gauge copper PVC.
- All light current conductors carrying normal amperage are silicone tinned aircraft wire
- All light current circuits are protected by Carling DC circuit breakers.
- Batteries - the ship's auxiliary load consists of 8 x 105 AHR Deltec lead acid batteries.
- The breakers are medium break and are not influenced by ambient temperature changes.
- A separate battery is supplied for engine starting.
- For good heavy current termination, copper tinned bus bars are used.
- The 32-way DC main switch panel is located in the Nav Station.
- Digital battery monitor.
- Batteries - deep cycle maintenance free.
- AC circuit – including shore power transom socket, 25m/65’6” shore power cord, electrical panel with necessary breakers and earth leakage.
